Ford Vehicles: FYI

Well, I guess we all learn that the Model T was the first vehicle ever produced in school...but, did you know...

*the Model T was produced from September 1908 until October 1927
*the Model T was able to be massed produced thanks to Henry Ford's vision of the assembly line
*the Model T has been named the most influential vehicle of the 20th century
*in May 1927, Henry Ford watched the 15 millionth Model T roll of the assembly line in Highland Park, MI

*This is what Henry Ford had to say about the Model T:
         "I will build a car for the great multitude. It will be large enough for the family, but small enough for the individual to run and care for. It will be constructed of the best materials, by the best men to be hired, after the simplest designs that modern engineering can devise. But it will be so low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one – and enjoy with his family the blessing of hours of pleasure in God's great open spaces."

*Here is a bit more information about the Ford Vehicle Line-Up:
The longest produced Ford vehicle that is still being sold today--Ford F-Series Truck
           {The F-Series Trucks have been in production since 1948...who knew?}
The newest Ford vehicle to the Family--2013 CMax

Stay tuned later this week for more information on the Ford Family of Vehicles!
