2013 Fusion Fun Facts

Yesterday at Jenkins and Wynne our Ford trainer Stuart came in to teach us some fun facts on the all new 2013 Ford Fusion! If you follow along and read our blogs, you'll remember the post from Tuesday on the 2013 Ford Fusion where we had some other facts about the Fusion!

Tuesday, Casey, Amanda, and Fran of the Internet Department went to check out the Fusion we had on the floor.. check out the video of their first impressions!

Fun Facts:

-Are you a golfer? You can fit up to FOUR sets of clubs in the trunk as it has 16 cubic feet of space.

-The Fusion is the ONLY midsize sedan that can tow. Max lbs is 1,000.

-You no longer have to turn your high beams on & off as the Fusion has Automatic High Beams.

Numbers:

-10 Exterior Colors to choose from

-9 different wheel designs

-5 trim levels

-3 memory drivers seat settings

-1 touch power windows; up & down

Hybrid:

-Batteries are designed to last a vehicle lifetime which is over 500 THOUSAND miles.

-Over 80 million miles of testing has been proven with the San Francisco Taxi Fleet. 

-There has yet to have a battery failure. That's pretty impressive. Don't you think so?

Hybrid Myths:

-Hybrids are expensive and not worth the extra cost!

 Wrong. You can recoup the extra cost in 3 1/2 year beccause of all the gas you're saving. This is based on if gas is $4 a gallon and you go 15 thousand miles a year. 

-The Hybrid is new to Ford. 

Ford has had Hybrid vehicles out and about since 2004! The Fusion is 3rd generation.
