Ford Flex Named One of the “Top Ten Best New Road Trip Vehicles”

According to editors of Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com, the 2009 Ford Flex is one of the “Top Ten Best New Road Trip Vehicles.”

“The functionality, cargo capacity and interior space of the Ford Flex, coupled with its high feature set, make it a pretty ideal cross-country commuting vehicle,” said Micah Muzio, Road Test Editor for Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com.

Ford Flex features that set it apart from the competition include its (available) multi-panel Vista Roof™. “The sunroof makes the vehicle seem even roomier,” said Muzio. Another Flex feature that impressed kbb.com was a class-exclusive (available) integrated refrigerator between the second-row seats that can cool up to seven 12-ounce cans. Rounding out its list of innovative features, Flex offers Ford SYNC™, a Sony premium audio system, an EasyFuel™ capless fuel filler, available ambient lighting, an available reverse camera system and available SIRIUS® Travel Link™.

Flex arrives in Ford showrooms this summer with a base Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting at $28,995 including destination and delivery.

kbb.com editors praised Flex’s fuel economy, roominess, unique features and options such as a multi-panel Vista Roof™ and built-in refrigerator.
